High pressure water jetting uses a stream of pressurised water to clean surfaces or remove coatings or debris.

They can be used for a huge range of purposes, however in the case of sewer drain cleaning, it is the preferred method for clearing blockages to have your drain pipes running perfectly again.

A question that is often asked - 'Can I Use My Existing Pressure Washer as a Jetter?? 

In most cases - Yes.  
However this is dependent on the size of your pressure washer. 
You will require Jetting Hose and Jetting Nozzles.

For just clearing silt build up in storm water drains, the minimum requirement is
6.5hp @ 12 L/Min up to 30 Metres Hose Length. 

For clearing silt and soft fibrous roots in storm water, solid & agg drains - the minimum requirement is
13hp @ 15 L/min up to 60 Metres Hose Length.

For drains that have heavy fibrous root blockages the mininum requirement is 
24hp Plus @ 5000psi | 21 L/Min.  This is needed to cut though and clear debris.

Top end cutting and clearing performance can come down to better design and more expensive type nozzles
such as 'Warthog' Range.  Generally, start at 15-17 L/Min up to 5000psi in 1|4 Inch hose and
21 L/Min up to 5000psi in 3|8 Inch Hose.
