Our Hand Crank Hose Reels come in different sizes - 30 Metre - 90 Metre.
These Hose Reels are designed to hold up to 30 -90 Metres of 2-Wire Rubber Hose.
They will hold more if Single 1-Wire Braided or Jetting Hose is used.
As With All Hose Reels - It is recommended that you purchase a hose reel that is bigger than your length of hose to ensure hose fits on when wound back up - especially if it is a 3.8 Hose. Hoses must also be wound up neatly also to ensure they fit back onto the reel after use. See our instruction guide re winding up hoses below.

Here's how to roll a high-pressure hose onto a hose reel efficiently and to avoid kinks:
Preparation:
Release pressure and purge water: Turn off the pressure washer and disconnect the hose from the pump. Open the spray gun to release any remaining pressure and purge water from the hose.
Straighten the hose: Remove any kinks or twists in the hose. A kinked hose won't coil up properly on the reel.
Clean the hose (optional): For better coiling, especially if the hose is dirty or gritty, you can wipe it down with a rag to remove debris. This will prevent scratches on your car or other surfaces if the hose rubs against them later.
Rolling onto the reel:
Find the starting point: Locate the reel's swivel attachment (where the hose connects) and the guide arm (if present).
Start coiling: Begin by walking away from the reel, holding the female end (the end that attaches to the spray gun) of the hose.
Coiling technique: Wind the hose onto the hose reel slowly, layer as you wind and take the time to ensure there are no kinks, bends or twists in the hose, as this can cause issues with cracking over time.
Coil evenly so that you can coil up the entire hose. Use the hand crank if your hose reel is fitted with one.
Maintain tension: Keep a slight tension on the hose as you coil it to prevent it from sagging or getting tangled.
Follow the guide (if present): If your hose reel has a guide arm, use it to position the coils neatly on the reel – otherwise keep using your hand to ensure hose is coiled neatly so that all the hose fits back onto the reel
Secure the end: Once all the hose is coiled, secure the female end to the reel using the designated hook or clamp.
